Hi, everyone. Even though all tests for this term are over, this week was meaningful, so I have quite a lot to talk about. Bear with it...

So firstly, I will talk about the tests results released. Honestly, I was quite surprised with the results as I thought I did not do very well for most of the tests. For English compo, I got 25/30. Actually this was the only test this term that I was confident in, but still I did not expect such marks. Our Chinese teacher gave back the class test and the common test (compo). If you can recall, I was very upset about the class test a few weeks ago, and said that it was a disgraceful incident in that blog entry. But actually the result was not as bad as I expected. I obtained 86/100. Even though this result was not extremely good as compared to a few others, I am already very satisfied given what happened during the test. As for the Chinese compo test, my marks were 54/70. Naturally, I'm very happy given that the day before the test was the day of the Esplanade concert, and the day before the concert was the rehearsal. So for two consecutive days, I was throughly exhausted and was unable to revise for the compo test at all. However, despite this good result for Chinese, I must remember to revise well for next term's tests and not have de2 guo4 qie3 guo4 mentality again since this result was partly jiao3 xing4.

Besides Chinese and English, we recieved the Literature test paper. Er... currently I connot seem to remember the marks, but it was A1. But for this test, Jian Ting had helped me in sending me some points about Animal Farm. Without his help, I may have gotton lower marks. And speaking about Literature, we will be studying on Emily of Emerald Hill next term when Animal Farm is finished. Overall, I have briefly calculated my MSG score. Right now, we have not recieved our History Test paper yet since Ms Sim, our History teacher is away, so I do not know my grade for Integrated Humanitites (IH). Even though I got A1 for the other five subjects, I don't think straight A1s is possible as I did terribly for History, plus I got B4 for Geography. So if my IH was B3, my overall MSG will then be 1.33333... Now I will aim to get 1.00 MSG for next term, so of course I have to work even harder. (Do i sound like Boxer in Animal Farm?)

Ok, so enough about studies matters. I will go on to talk about the CO elections. Zhi Guang was nominated for Assistant Secretary, Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Scores Quartermaster (I think, correct me if i'm wrong). And I was nominated for assistant treasurer. So we have to prepare some kind of campaign speech. Actually a bit wu2 liao2 for small posts like A. treasurer. But according to Sin Hwee, the actually Election Day (during the first week of June) clashes with the training camp for councillors, so I think I may have to give up the election thingy. But nevermind, since I'm not very keen on being A. Treasurer. Personally, I feel that I not good in money matters.

And oh yes, next week is APMOPS. Hope that it will not be hot on that day, because I am one of the only two councillors who have to bring council u on that day. Recently, as Kai Yao puts it, the weather is getting mad. According to him, the temperature at night hovers around 29-32 degrees C. I think because of this heat, I was sick on-and-off during the past week.

So that is about all now. Bye.
